Iventa Corporation Statement of Privacy December, 2003

Iventa Corporation (Iventa) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information on our Web sites and developing technology that gives you the most powerful, safe, online experience.

This Privacy Statement applies to the network of Iventa Web Sites that display the Iventa logo and/or trademark. By using Iventa's Dashboard or FanConnect System, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. If you have questions about this Privacy Statement or the protection of your personal information on Iventa Web sites, please write us at privacy@iventa.com.

Iventa explicitly asks when it needs information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information") pertinent to the specific product or service you are choosing to use or subscribe to on the Iventa web sites. This information can include your e-mail address, name, address, telephone number, and credit card number, as applicable. Iventa also may ask for non-personal information or demographic information.

Collection of your Personal Information

Currently, Iventa also collects personal information through the use of offline telesales operations. The information collected during the use of telesales may be merged with personal information you have previously shared with this Web site and is used in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

The site also offers the ability to enter sweepstakes where personal information is collected in order to notify you if you are the winner of the sweepstakes.

Use of your Personal Information

Iventa and our Iventa affiliates and service partners use your personal information to operate the Iventa Dashboard sites and to provide the Dashboard services you have requested. The information is also used to communicate with you regarding your Iventa Dashboard accounts by sending out periodic newsletters that are considered as essential to the operation of the service. The non-personal information is used to compile general demographic statistics which is shared in the aggregate with Iventa advertisers. We use your e-mail address to respond to incoming service and support requests from you, to collect customer feedback, customer satisfaction surveys, sweepstakes notices, and other service informational mailings.

We ask for your postal address because some of our services require a mailing address so that we can completely perform the service. We may also use this information for credit card validation.

Iventa  may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Iventa, Iventa Dashboard or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Iventa; Iventa Dashboard, the site or the users of Iventa Dashboard; or, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Iventa, Iventa Dashboard, the site or the public.

Personally identifiable information collected by Iventa may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Iventa or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using this site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

Sharing your Personal Information with Other Companies

Except as otherwise described in this statement, Iventa will share your personal information with other companies only with your consent.  These uses of personal information are primary to the operation of the site.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as packaging and delivering purchases and other mailings, providing customer service, performing statistical analysis of our services, or providing other essential elements of the site. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the product or service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

Control of your Personal Information

As part of your participation in any of the Iventa Dashboard services, Iventa allows you to elect to receive certain information and e-mail from Iventa and its service partners. There are two types of information sent to Iventa Dashboard customers: 1) account specific information; and, 2) promotional and customer feedback information.

Account specific communications include information that is essential for the Iventa Dashboard service to operate properly. This includes the initial welcome mail describing features and guides to a particular service. It also includes any communications describing any changes or updates to a particular service or billing schedule. Because account specific communications are essential to providing the customer with the most current information on Iventa services these types of communications will be sent to all Iventa customers when appropriate. These types of communications are considered an essential part of the service for which you have signed-up for and you will not be able to unsubscribe from such mailings.

Promotional and customer feedback information includes special promotional offers, sweepstakes, contests, and/or customer surveys. For this type of information, the customer has the ability to opt-in or opt-out from receiving this type of information. The customer also has the ability to change their opt-in/out preferences at any time, either by changing their personal information, described in the next section, or by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each mailing.

Please be aware that this Privacy Statement and the choices you make on this site will not necessarily apply to personal information you may have provided to Iventa in the context of other, separately operated, Iventa products or services.

Changes to your Personal Information

You may update, edit or delete the personal information you have shared with Iventa, at any time when you are on the Iventa Web site, from within your Iventa Dashboard Management Center by selecting Main -> Company Info from the drop down menu.

If you have chosen to receive information from Iventa and then at a later date decide you do not wish to continue receiving such information, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions in the e-mail. Security of your Company's and Customers' Information you share with Iventa

As a part of some of Iventa Dashboard services, you can choose to store your customer's and their company information on Iventa's servers. Iventa secures your customer's information on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Iventa will not use your customer contact list or any other customer information for any other purposes than those intended with the service, nor will your customer information be shared with any other parties, unless you are also subscribing to Iventa Dashboard Commerce System, where one of the features of these services is that your customer information be shared with Customer Manager. Use of Cookies

To make it easy and convenient for you to login to our services, the Iventa site and Iventa Web sites require you to enable cookies to utilize our services. Because we use cookies, you can bookmark your Iventa Dashboard start page and access your account without logging in.

A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Iventa Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the features that you customized.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you will not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Iventa Web site and on other Dashboard Web sites or other web sites you visit.

Use of Privacy Statements by Iventa Partners and Affiliates

While Iventa supports other web site operators using Iventa Dashboard services complying with these principles, you should carefully examine the privacy statements of sites linking to or from Iventa. Personal information that you choose to provide to other web sites will be subject to the privacy policies of that specific web site.

Use of Third Party Ad Networks

The majority of the online banner advertisements you see on the Iventa Web sites are displayed by Iventa. In addition, Iventa also allows other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to display advertisements on Iventa Web sites. To do this, ad networks place a persistent cookie on your computer. Doing this allows the ad network to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad networks may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements on this site and other sites about goods and services that may be of interest to you.  Iventa does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third-party ad servers or ad networks.

Iventa may maintain relationships with a number of the third-party ad networks currently operating such as: MaxWorldwide; 24/7 Media; AdForce; AdKnowledge; AppNet/admaximize/i33; Avenue A; BlueStreak.com; CFM&Z; Click Here; DoubleClick; Flycast; Interad Network; MatchLogic; Mediaplex; Sabela Media; The Thinking Media; and Vita Bella. If you want to prevent one of these third-party companies from sending and reading cookies on your computer, you will need to either set your browser to decline third party cookies or visit each ad network's web site individually or request that you be removed from its system.

If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, please click here:

Third Party Cookies

In the course of serving advertisements to this site, our third-party advertiser may place or recognize a unique "cookie" on your browser.

Use of Web Beacons

Iventa Dashboard pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons, sometimes called single-pixel gifs that allow Iventa to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. Iventa may include web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or Iventa Newsletters in order to count how many messages have been opened and acted upon. Web beacons are not used to access your personally identifiable information on the Iventa network of sites and services; they are a technique we use to compile aggregated statistics about Iventa Web site usage.

Web beacons collect only a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the Web beacon resides. Iventa Web pages may also contain Web beacons placed there by our advertising partners to help Iventa determine the effectiveness of our Internet advertising campaigns.

Changes to this Statement

Iventa will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect company and customer feedback. When Iventa posts changes to this Statement, we will also revise the "last updated" date at the top of the Privacy Statement. If there are material changes to this Statement, Iventa will notify you by placing prominent notice on the Web site. Iventa encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Iventa is protecting your information.
